Also, Mr. Burnett, the subordinationist position regarding the Trinity is quite controversial and, from a historical perspective, heretical in terms of orthodox Christian doctrine. The patriarchy-complementarian movement is the primary advocate for this theological perspective because it appears to provide theological support for their sociological opinions.

It’s easy to say “some theologians show from Scripture . . .” but when one actually examines the details of subordinationist exegesis, the position appears to be much more informed by eisegesis and retroactively projecting opinions onto the texts.

Mr. Bauckham indeed has very close ties with Vision Forum. He has been involved in dozens of their events, has sold his own material through them, and has endorsed their ministry as well as specific materials produced by their ministry. He is a part of the broader patriarchy-homeschool movement of which VF is a key mover and shaker.

I am currently a member of the CCC forum. I have noticed lately that many of its members hold exactly the same extreme Patriocentric and 19th century Victorian prudish notions that characterize the Vision Forum Ministries!!!!

My argument is that whenever God reserves in a certain venue authority for males, that is because there is something unique and definitive about the nature of that venue, that

Ever since I have become a member of the CCC, and having my own simple motto that JESUS IS JUDGE AND AVENGER, I have noticed that many of the members of that forum have EXACTLY the kind of EXTREME PATRIARCHALIST TRADITIONALIST and 19th CENTURY VICTORIAN PRUDISH VIEWS that characterize the Vision Forum Ministries!!!!

I have attempted to use George and Dora Winston’s book Recovering Biblical Ministries by Women (but you have to be very careful concerning the parts in that book where George and Dora Winston consult all the Biblical text about women and church office, but interpret them in a manner at variance with their plain straightforward meaning – which clearly reserves such offices for adult males) in which they prove using Inductive Bible Study that the fundamental assumption commonly held by many complementarians that authority and submission is delegated based on differences in inherent sexual essence and being, is wrong. God delegates authority on the basis of the ESSENCE and NATURE and function of the venue and the work to be done. If God reserves in a certain venue authority for males, that is because there is something unique and definitive about the nature of that venue, that requires such a limitation of authority to males. That is what I am trying to prove. But the members of the CCC forum are simply too ASHAMED to consider that possibility. Instead they continue using EXACTLY the same arguments you have seen much too often used by the extreme patriarchalists of the Vision Forum Ministries!!!
